High School Musical Star and Retired Baseball Player Expecting Another Child

The pair, who welcomed their first child in July 2024, met during a Zoom meditation session hosted by Joe Jonas in 2020 and married in 2023 after three years of dating. Hudgens, 36, a former Disney star, and Tucker, 29, a retired baseball shortstop, shared their excitement for “round two” in the post.
Hudgens revealed in a 2023 Today interview that she felt Tucker was her future husband after their first weekend together. The couple kept their first child’s gender and name private, with Hudgens debuting her pregnancy at the 2024 Oscars red carpet. Rumors of her pregnancy surfaced in October 2023, which she denied during her bachelorette trip in Aspen.
After their first child’s birth, paparazzi photos of the family leaving the hospital prompted Hudgens to criticize the invasion of their privacy, though she confirmed that she, Tucker, and their baby were happy and healthy.
In a 2022 Nylon interview, Hudgens shared that she initially expected to marry and have children younger, inspired by her mother’s marriage at 25. When that didn’t happen, she adjusted her timeline, aiming to start a family around 36 or 37, a plan she’s now fulfilling. Before Tucker, Hudgens was in a nine-year relationship with Austin Butler, ending in 2020, and dated Zac Efron from 2006 to 2010.
